Communities of faith working together to proclaim the Kingdom of God.

A visit to All Saints or Holy Cross will introduce you to a relatively small but highly involved community of people, local Glaswegians and others from further afield (UK & Ireland, mainland Europe, Africa and other places), who have all come together for one particular reason, to worship God.

We believe that God created and cares passionately about our world, and all who live in it. We believe in the essence of the Christmas story: that God chose to become human and live life as part of a human family as the man, Jesus.

As an adult, around the age of 30, he taught those around him about God the creator of humanity, and taught what it meant to follow God. Some thought he would lead a violent revolution to save his people from Roman occupation. Others believed that he was challenging political, social and religious structures in a more subtle manner, transforming lives and changing attitudes. For a mixture of these reasons Jesus was arrested, after his location was betrayed by a friend. He was crucified 3 short years after he started travelling and teaching.

We believe in the essence of the Easter story, that following his brutal execution, Jesus died. BUT - he rose from the dead, and continues to live, guiding his church through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through the life, death, resurrection and teachings of Jesus, God showed us what life could be like in this world, calling us to love all people (and ourselves) regardless of status, belief, action or race. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians worldwide continue do what they can to live our lives in the way that Jesus showed us.
